For the second year in succession a Seaforth grade team has made it through to the NSW State Finals which will be played this year in Ballina between 20-23 August. Congratulations to everyone who played a part and here’s to a threepeat in grade 5 next year!
Young Guns in Rookie Final
Marc Alessi and Josh Bartholomeusz faced off in the final of the 2026 Rookie Competition. Both players displayed levels of skill that belied their relative inexperience. In the end, Josh triumphed in what was a great contest between two exciting young players. Expect to see these names again and again
Help a Struggling Club
Volunteers are still needed to attend two workshops, sponsored by Bowls Australia, which are designed to help struggling clubs like ours prosper. The course is not onerous – just two two-hour sessions covering Planning and Implementation. The board is asking for five or six members to step up.

Mosman is holding its annual Alex Macpherson Carnival on Friday, July 10. You can book on the Club’s booking site https://www.trybooking.com/DKKFJ before entries close on July 3. The format is three-bowl triples (men, women or mixed) playing two games of 15 ends each. The entry fee of $35 per player
